Christian Education

I believe strongly in the ministry of private Christian education.  There is an awesome opportunity to influence & affect the lives of young people thru positive teacher role models & mentors, positive peer influence, wholesome uplifting environment and solid Biblically based curriculum.   In the summer of 1997 after ministering at a Christian school for 11 years, my husband and I set out to start a discipleship Christian high school in our area that would -

• glorify God in everything & strive for excellence in academics, athletics, the arts & technology in a positive, inspiring, wholesome social environment.
• have faith filled Christian teachers with a heart to disciple young people.
• where students desired to grow in the Lord and then go out & make a difference in their world.
• be a shining example of Jesus Christ to our community

This high school became a reality in Jim Elliot Christian High School that opened its doors with 42 students in September of 1998. 

In order to continue to grow in excellence and to provide student scholarships for many young people who want to attend this school but can’t afford it, we have created the Dan & Beth Lambdin Student Scholarship  Fund. To donate or for more information, please contact me.

Homeschooling

I began homeschooling in 1997 when a series of life circumstances caused major change in the direction of our path.  I planned to do it for a year or two until things got stabilized again. BUT God had a different plan!  I loved it!  Not because I a the best homeschool teacher but because I LOVE my children and I love being with them all the time.  The relationships we have built through our time together is priceless.  I also love being able to teach them from a Biblical world view.  I love hands on learning and field trips (and snuggling under the covers on a cold winter morning reading aloud from C.S. Lewis, Jane Austen or Laura Ingalls Wilder).

I homeschool through 8th grade and then they attend Jim Elliot Christian High School with their daddy!

Marriage & Family Life

I love to encourage people to create strong healthy marriages and solid families. 

My husband (a lisenced minister) & I regularly assist young couples in pre marital counseling sessions to help them build a firm foundation for a life long marraige.  We also hold two annual engagement retreat weekends per year.  

Having been raised in a loving Christian home with rich family traditions and experiencing first hand how it builds strong faith, self esteem, a sense of belonging & well being as well as providing meaningful memories to children (not too mention making life fun!), I believe that everyone can create an awesome family life.  I would love to come speak to your group or organization and teach, inspire and motivate on this topic.

Mentoring Moms

I believe that being a mother is one of the toughest and yet most fulfilling and important role a women can have.  As a mother you begin to understand in a new way the grace, mercy & unconditional love of God.  I have a desire to help Moms to let go & lean on God to help them be the mom they were called to be. 

As a mother of seven children who range in age from 4 months to 18 years, I have experienced many ups & downs of motherhood.  I have had successes as well as failures. I have learned many lessons along the way and would love to share them with others in hopes of helping to make the path smoother and to experience joy in the journey.  I also want to help moms who want or need to make an income from their homes rather than working away from home full time and missing out on much of their childrens lives. The Bible tells us in Titus 2 that the “older” (ouch! I think I have arrived there) women should teach the younger women….I am ready & willing to pass on what I know.

Babies & Life

I love babies! I love life and believe that all life is valuable.  This includes the unborn, the disabled, the challenged, the sick and the elderly.  I am pro life & passionate about helping to save babies and children from the atrocity of abortion, abandonment and abuse.

 Album Making & Faithbooking

I love my photographs and am diligent about preserving my memories by putting both my pictures along with my life stories in albums to be enjoyed today & cherished tomorrow.  

I also believe in the importance & value of using photos & stories to pass on our faith to the next generation! I help people create albums chronicling the “God moments” and spiritual milestones in their lives.
